Supernova is the first LP by Fatima Push, an Industrial-alternative Rock band from Bogotá, Colombia. I had the opportunity to create the complete visual direction for the album and made all the cover art (10 different artworks), animated videos, and promo material.
The album explores the human struggle—both internal and external—through raw lyrics and an intense sonic and visual aesthetic. It delves into emotions like fear, rage, and anguish within a dark, oppressive atmosphere. Sonically, it blends progressive industrial metal with classic metal elements and experimental textures. Visually, it draws from German Expressionism, dark contemporary art, and Brutalist architecture, using stark, monolithic structures to reflect themes of oppression and resilience. With a somber color palette and evocative iconography, the album immerses the listener in the deepest, darkest corners of the mind and soul.
